Paul Sheldon's practice encompasses a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, class action defense, intellectual property litigation, software development disputes, and insurance coverage matters involving such products as silicone implants, HIV-infected blood products, and environmental liability. In a pro bono matter, he argued and won an appeal in the Seventh Circuit in a prisoner civil rights case, published at Black v. Lane, 22 F.3D 1395 (7th Cir. 1994).

While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Sheldon was a senior member of the Loyola Law Journal and a regional finalist and national semifinalist in the National Moot Court Team competition. He received a Loyola Scholarship Award, as well as American Jurisprudence and Loyola Academic Achievement Awards in Torts, Property, Corporations, Evidence, Environmental Law, Legal Writing, Moot Court, and Appellate Advocacy.
