Jessica S. Nolan

Jessica Nolan’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including the defense and prosecution of cases involving consumer fraud, breach of contract, defamation, breach of fiduciary duty, antitrust, preemption, copyright infringement, non-compete provisions, and identity theft.

Ms. Nolan offers clients counseling at every step of the litigation process, from risk assessment to development and implementation of litigation strategies.  Ms. Nolan has experience litigating in various state and federal courts and before the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, including trial experience that has earned her membership in the Trial Bar for the Northern District of Illinois.

Although Ms. Nolan’s primary focus is the litigation of complex commercial disputes, she enjoys and dedicates a portion of her practice to cases involving the First Amendment and media law.  Ms. Nolan has defended journalists, newspapers, and attorneys against defamation claims and has successfully challenged a local municipality’s ordinance restricting its residents’ rights to political speech.
