Anna S. Knight

Anna Knight litigates complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, professional liability, securities fraud, and insurance coverage. Anna’s excellent skills in critical reasoning, creative problem solving, project management, and oral and written communication are distinct advantages for her clients.

Anna’s experience in all aspects of trial preparation includes:

• Took and defended depositions in $34 million fraud and professional liability suit, and discovered key point missed by opposing counsel that reduced alleged damages by $1.2 million.
• Achieved complete victory through motion to dismiss complaint that sought to vacate an arbitration award.
• Drafted summary judgment brief that drew from three-year discovery record and dozens of depositions, and helped drive favorable partial settlement and voluntary dismissal of all claims against personally named defendant.
• Managed all stages of complex discovery, including electronic data and document preservation, collection, review and production, drafting and responding to written discovery, and negotiating discovery disputes to avoid costly briefing.

While Anna’s primary focus is the litigation of complex business disputes, she also enjoys and dedicates a portion of her practice to immigration and asylum cases. She has counseled numerous clients through the U Visa process, with a perfect record obtaining work authorization for her clients.

Anna also serves as the firm’s associate in charge of recruiting and co-chairs the summer program.

Prior to joining the firm, Anna was a litigator at Latham & Watkins.
